I then tried uninstalling the driver (making sure Windows doesn't automatically reinstall it), going on Dell's site, downloading what I assume is the recommended Nvidia driver, and installing it that way. I've tried updating windows, my bios, and basically everything I can find to update and that doesn't seem to solve the issue either. I've tried uninstalling through the device manager and reinstalling the driver. Under Device Manager, I'm seeing the exclamation mark next to the listing for the Nvidia display adapter and it's telling me that "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems.
Did this a few times, but the same thing happened. So I recently updated my graphics card driver through GeForce Experience, and after the restarting as the program requested, it continued to ask me to update it.
